What should I be aware of when looking at this model car. My father in law has a 98 i30t and he swears by it. I now drive a 99MB C280 Sport and it time to step up and get a different car
Please any advise or comment will be appreciated

Nissan like any other: Peek inside into trunk/rear wheel wells, under floor mats for rust. Definitely need a light... Also fuel fill tube from 'outside' (wheel well, under plastic cover) has to be inspected. Rusty? --> find another...
A/T oil: if blk, stinky, dont take. If brake fluid in reservoir is blk, 12yr old car will soon need total brake overhaul, tells of typical no-maintenance...
Best: Low miles - first owner - and has to match overall condition. Note that odometer seldom shows the true mileage :(
