Remote start issues

Hello.

2007 SV6, with one power slide, and remote start.
The remote start used to work great.
Press the lock button twice, then hold the start button, and all was well.

Now, for some reason, I do the same routine, but it blows the horn. Nothing shuts it off either except for the key in the ignition.

Anyone experience this?

I imagine it's a security feature gone rogue.

Check for PCM/BCM codes?

No codes.

My wife's remote works perfect.

If the wife's works, but your's doesn't, what do you think it is?

Try pressing the lock button only once then press and hold the start button. :banghead:

I was hoping that it was a programming issue with that fob, and a simple reprogramming would restore it to its original uses.
