Which of this year’s F1 cars do you think looks the best, both in physical shape and livery? I don’t think ive left out any candidates, if its not one of the above then by all means put forward your choice.
Personally I think the F2003GA looks awesome, very sleek, and I just love those slits in the sidepods!

Same here, and I just love that prancing horse on the nose :).

McLarens MP4/18 beats 'em all in looks  and in livery! The West scheme is far more appealing then uniform red, yellow or green with some white striping here and there. And that nose, never ever produced before.
Physical shape:
1. McLaren
2. Ferrari
3. Renault
4. Williams
5. Jaguar
6. Jordan
Livery:

The shape of the 18 doesn't do it for me, sorry. While it's ok if you look separately, let's say, at the front or the rear, together it seems, to me at least, somehow out of balance, not harmonised. the livery is good, though, although I'm kinda hoping for something new some day ;)

I'd go for the '18 as well, though I do love that Rosso Corsa:)

I'm a Jag man, you cant vote against the jags.
the '18 looks strange, almost like its a computer generated image that has been stretched and shrunk. but if i wasnt a jag man, i'd vote for the Red cars they do look sweet!

I think the MP4/18 looks like it's liquid, that's why I think it's cool!

I have to disagree I think the Ferrari livery is classic

You should say: "... in this case I think it does". You make it sound like an absolute fact, which it isn't. only 5 out of 14 voters so far agree with you on that. So a bit of modesty is in place here.
Besides...

I was just buggin you... cause after I stated my preferences you couldn't stop making your point, insisting the F2003GA is the best looking so I thought, I'll bug this Ferrari lover a bit , cause it sounded like you were trying to convince me.
But if you're not into the mood for stuff like that, I'll stop doing that :icesangel

I voted for the McLaren but not for the 18 rather the current MP4/17D. The 18 looks a bit akward at the front to me, do like the super sleek rear end though.
Funny how so many people like the look of the GA. IMHO Rory Byrne designs the ugliest machines, remember his Tolemans and Benettons - woof!

Are you talking about the GA or the '18? He's a good angle on the latter. Looks like the exhausts exit either side of the rear wing support, over the top of the lower wing.

I picked the Renault simply because I love the colors on that car. It may be garish for some...but I think it works.

My peferences would be:
1)Mclaren-Luv the blackish look on it. Dont really like colourful livery. Certain parts with fading black adds to what attracts me on the mclaren.
2)Williams-Same here. Just nice, not too many colours.
3)Ferrari-Red red and more red but those decals make up for the monotony though.
Well, thats just my POV.

Can't see any Minardis? Are they hiding up the back, or has Paul Stoddart spat the dummy again and not shown up?

Yeah ales, these are parc ferme pics. What the hell does parc ferme means by the way. I only know that before the pics were loading, the desciption said Parc femme.
Haha, I didnt notice there werent any minardis til U pointed it out RallyR, I wonder why.
These were taken off the Australian Circuit though, 2003.
Anyways, you can get it off from this site. Just some of the resources I get for my reference for building my future F1 kits.

If the shot is from the 2003 Oz GP that would explain the absense of Minardis. They didn't do a qualifying lap, so didn't go into parc ferme overnight. Next day they started from the pit lane (or was it the back of the grid :dunno:)
Cool link. Some nice detail shots that will be very helpfull to those planning to build the 1/12th Revel F2002 when it is released.

"Minardi's Justin Wilson was first out, after setting the slowest time in the Friday qualifying session. Mysteriously, both Wilson and team mate Jos Verstappen pulled into the pit lane at the end of their single qualifying lap, so technically not setting a time at all."
Thats about sums it but didnt say if they started from the pits or grid though. Later on, another report made it sound like this was a strategy of theirs...hmmm, well, thats the past and your memory did served you well RallyR ;)
Oops the score is Ferrari's 8 to Mclaren's 7......
Cant wait for this weekend's race!
