06 gm radio installing in an 02 avalanche help

I have read a few posts on removing the VIN link e prom power. I am trying to verify which EPROM it is. There is one on the top main board that is an ST brand. It is close to the front left corner. Anyone familiar with this late of radio. GM part number is 15234935. 6 disk in dash out of a 06 colorado.

Do I need any other wires hooked up? Class data lines Etc.

Just want to make sure I pull the correct chip.

Any help would be great.
