i've got three old projects sitting on the bench so i decided to work on another :D . here's what i've got on the bench ... the fourth is an opel astra v8 team holtzer which i'm building oob... i'm too lazy to look up ref. pix on the net.
the cars are lined up in order of percentage bodywork complete (with the civic being mostly done).
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/758027bench.jpg
the civic is pretty much done so there's not much to do except paint it. the fto is... well... an inspired replica gone grossly inaccurate so it's going to have some sort of widebody kit on there... don't know what just yet... waiting for some additional inspiration... have some ideas for the front bumper and some added definition for the sideskirts already. just too lazy to do anything on this kit just yet. and lastly, the 350... er... 350ZG hopefully when i'm done with it...

not much going on at the moment. i just wanted to share :)

Those are really sweet, clean looking body kits on those cars! They're simply bad ass! Can't wait to see the FTO done. I think it's going to look the best.

i'm not such a big fan of the civics either... after owning an integra for 6 years (can you believe a girl-racer crached and totaled my car ) and a honda for another 4 years, i can say that they are so damn reliable! i've never had a problem with them. the only thing is... for the first five years of owning the integra, i've had it broken into at least once a year. if there are any complaints about these cars, its just that... they're too popular with the racer crowd and look towards my car as nothing more than spare parts... but anyway... i got drawn into buying a revell civic from this board :D . i guess AF will do that to ya!
with all the modifications going on with the 1:1 car nowadays, there's alot of inspiration for the model :) . that's probably why i bought it. its funny that both the civic and integra are made by revell. with the headaches i got from the other car, i'm not too enthused towards finishing the civic.
the opel i have to finish within the next two months. its for my brother. but the kits i really want to finish are the fto and 350. lots of room for artistic interpretation:D .

ps. i'm so jealous of you hiroboy! we don't get those in the states :( would love to test drive one!

Since I know what inpsired it (I think! :o :uhoh: ), may I ask if you'll be using a black/fluoro green scheme on the FTO? :D

i had a thread on the fto a while ago... don't know where it went. but anyway, thanks to fly's generosity with the pics of the real car, i was really really bummed that the work i put into this kit was very inaccurate. i got the idea from playing the gt3 video game on the ps2. that lm fto that they have in the game is awesome so i decided to take my chances on making one in plastic. let's just say that the video game does not do the real car justice. anyway, i gave up on the kit after staring countless hours on the tv set.
i don't normally post that much other than my progress on kits. however, my sister got back from vegas and lent me her digital camera :D . so guess what? i'm having fun with it and taking as much pictures as i can before it goes away again :finger:
as for the colors on these cars... i haven't the foggiest idea. i'm still trying to figure out what to do with this guy! i'll let you guys know when i finally do get back into building these guys. the opel has to be done first and i'm leaning towards the fto next and the 350 down the line... the civic is just going to collect dust... the bodywork is done so finishing another revell kit doesn't interest me right now :alien2: (besides, i used two of the tires to modify the itr tires so i'll have to order some replacements for this kit).
