Wiring harness search..!

I've posted this in another Honda forum but would like as much feedback as possible! So please bear with me. :) I'm the epitome of an automotive n00b.
Okay, I know I'm waaaay out of my league on this forum. The knowledge you guys have of cars blows my arsecheeks out of the water. I wasn't sure where to put this, but since there's no 'parts search' or 'parts swap' section...just a sellers kinda deal, I figured I'd post in a generalized thread. Before I get started, I own a 2001 Black Honda Civic Coupe LX.
Well, here's the deal. A year and a half ago or so I bought some of the $20 wannabe HID lights (the halogen/xenon gas combo) and stuck them in my car [BAD MOVE, I know]. The jerks at the shop I bought them from locally never shot me any kind of warning about installing these lights or buying a special harness to compensate for the extra wattage the bulbs require.
Basically, those lights fried the low beams on my wiring harness. I have a real HID kit now (my low beam bulbs didn't stop fully functioning up until a couple days ago) and would love to install them. Though, the kit won't do me any good until I fix one of the pigtails on the harness that hooks into the inside/back portion of the steering wheel. Now, I don't need a new harness, just that one pigtail.
I've been searching locally at several after-market shops etc and have come up empty. I'll keep searching, but I was curious if perhaps any of you knew of any good, reputable shops that may carry what I'm looking for. Local or not, it doesn't matter. I can wait, though it's hard, for the part. Ebay didn't even help. Since I have a 2001 Civic (which is still pretty new as far as aftermarket parts are concerned), it's difficult to come across a cheap solution to this problem and I'll be damned if I'll pay $1,000 at the dealership for an issue that can be fixed for probably $20 or something, who knows.
Anyway, if any of you have any solutions, please let me know asap! Either PM me or slap up a response on here. Thanks in advance for helpin' a n00b in need.
Oh, one more thing...if you need pictures to see wtf I'm talking about, just let me know. Here's a link to one: http://www.killerkabob.com/wiringharness01.jpg . I'll take more if needed.
