borla has a complete exaust system...mandrel bent too...:) ...and IMO borla's exauts sound the best...
also the kit comes with dual pipes out the back and looks sweet......
for lower 0-6 times...let see....go with the SVT lower and upper intake manifold....oversise throttle body......and if you really can afford it go with a turbo kit.......customcougars.com has a sweet watercooled one.....
good sites for cougar performance:

Dont spend $5,000 on a turbo kit man....i can get a turbo kit for $3900. With more HP's than StreetFlights. Besides SF's kit has blown more motors than anyone i've seen. They have WAY to many flaws in engineering! Dont believe me ask and i'll list ALL of them.
Did i read that someone said they had the Cougar S ?? If so...dream on!!

they are expensive but not even close to be the most expensive.....they ask 600$ for the complete system

you want to know my advice? ok all he really needs to do if he wants a cat-back exhaust for half the price, then he needs to buy a Flowmaster Y-pipe if he wants to do it this way. That costs about $40 then 2 Thrush Turbo Mufflers for $50 Thats FOR TWO! and if his existing exhaust has a resonator, remove it and replace with piping. $12 This job can be done at around $115. Don't wast your money on expensive mufflers or cat-backes. I have had over 25 brands of mufflers tested and amazingly the best on i have seen as far as making awsome airflow and just enough backpressure is the dynomax's mufflers which also make thrush.

If you want to run duels straight back off the mainifolds, then you will have to take it to a muffler shop and have them do it, unless you have your own pipe bender, but i would recomend a muffler shop. Then again, don't spend alot of your mony on mufflers that you are paying an extra 30-60 bucks just because a name like Borla or Flowmaster is on it.

Your from Ohio heh? Where at in Ohio? If your good you can make your own exhaust without a pipe bender, you can also go side pipe if you want. Pretty cool to see a side piped Cougar! If you go true dual make sure the diameter is under 2"(od)...or you will loose way to much back pressure. Good luck!:bigthumb:

lol side pipe. i have done that once to a 1987 1500 series truck 350. threw some glassbacks on with turn downs that we actually had turned out to the sides. LOUD AS HELL!

The Cougar looks good side piped through ground effects. Just like the newer Mustang side pipes. Sides pipes can actually give you more hp's...not alot but usually more than rear pipes.:2cents:
