Hello all,
I have a friend that is looking at buying a 2005 Corolla XRS. He's got his choice down to either the '05 Corolla XRS, or an '06 Scion TC.
Toyota is not down my "alley" as I'm a GM guy, so I wanted to get some insight on the car from the people that know.
Are there any common problems with these cars? The only thing I could find was a lot of people getting a P0456. I know these cars have timing chains, but do you still recommend changing it around 100k?
He took me for a test drive yesterday and the car seems pretty solid. Very clean car with 65k on it.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
