Help me go to college

I am a long time member of this site and now I am looking for your help, I am trying to go to college. If you can spread the word I would appreciate it, I am not trying to spam here just honestly looking for help. Thanks.

First things first, I sincerely hope you get the opportunity to attend college and further your education. I know how it feels to be lacking necessary funds as I try to start a business from scratch. For what its worth, if I find myself in a position to help I most certainly will.

Second- from a promotional standpoint, I suggest adding some more info about which schools you are considering, what you hope to do with an Engineering degree, how far $12k will get you, and what other efforts you are making to raise money for yourself. Personally, I am of the mindset that I am much more willing to help someone if I can see that they are trying to help themselves. Not saying you aren't, but there isn't really anything on your page to describe your personal efforts. Honestly, if I didn't "know" you from AF I wouldn't give much thought to your needs based on what I read. Sadly, your situation is a common one so you don't stand out. Do what you can to make yourself stand out.

Lastly, why the 117 day deadline (as of today)? Is that a limit set by the website? You may want to clarify for people that view the page. Also, there is a large portion of the page, just below the header tabs, that is blank and says "Missing" with a red X. Maybe that's my browser....

Thanks for your response. I am currently drafting up more / better information and plan on uploading it soon. I just wanted to get something out there as soon as possible. I do appreciate your constructive feedback and appreciate everything you said. There is a problem with the image its not your browser it's something to do with uploading. The deadline is set the last day of this year, This date is set by me in hopes that It will motivate me to try harder and harder to make my dreams come true. I will keep you all updated.
