Keyless remote and passenger door not working!

This problem started a month ago but was intermittant. Now the passenger window is down and I can not get it up. The keyless remote doesn't work at all. I open the drivers door with the key and I can open the drivers door and window from inside but not the passenger door or window.
It is now raining with my window open and a plastic trash bag over it.

Any ideas of what the problem could be?

Thanks, MikeA

At the very least maybe someone knows a trick to get the window in the up position until I can troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks again.

are you able to remove the r/f door panel?

Yes I am.

since I last wrote, I tried getting to the keyless remote receiver in the dash (below the windshield), I was not able to pull the dash panel off on the passenger side. There are 2 rods that are holding it in just above the pass air bag. Do you know how these come out? I took the 2 white clips off but it still isn't coming off.

Hi Ranger0001,

I'm unable to provide technical advice, but if you were to decide up on working with a dealership I'm available to you through that process to help in whatever ways I am able to.

Kindest regards,

OK,with a little elbow grease (actually all I could muster) I was able to get the grab handle off. I pulled the receiver out cleaned it and everything is working now. However after pulling the receiver out and placing it in my pocket, I clicked the remote door lock (out of habit) and heard the doors lock behind me, then I locked/unlocked again. I guess what I thought was teh receiver was something else entirely. Never the less the window is up now and the doors are working, we'll see for how long.

OK< the problem came back later that evening, I eventually found that the tan (8pin) connector in the passenger side panel had a loose wire. I played with it and got it tighter and I'm 99.5% sure that it is fixed. The connector was in the side panel, open the passenger door and take off teh cover plate on the side of the dash panel. There are a series of connectors (maybe 5) the tan one was the problem. I hope this helps someone else someday.
