VW Golf MkI GTI

Hi All,

Here is my take on the iconic MkI Golf GTI. Kit is a very basic one from Fujimi, which was clearly originally motorised. I was going to build a "my first rally car", but after seeing a 1:1 during an image search that was in this scheme I decided to change. Paint is Tamiya TS-17 Gloss Aluminium straight from the can, gold centres on kit-supplied wheels, otherwise out of the box. In hindsight I would have glued the rear tailgate shut. Used Tamiya's Rubber Black on the bumpers, and I think they came out well.

Cute car. The wheels look tiny! What are they? 13"?

Looks good, but put a license plate on the front and rear to hide the mounting holes.
