2009 allure seatbelt warning light

So my issue today is with the seatbelt warning light on the dash being illuminated while I am driving with my seatbelt on.

I had the same problem when the car was under warranty and they had fixed the issue but less than a year later the light is illuminated again.

My question is if I was to fix this myself where do I need to look and what am I looking for? Is there a particular part that goes faulty?
