1982 El Camino won't start -Fuse?

I was working on my Air Conditioner blower and relay when I tried to jump the power to see if I had electricity to the blower. I got a little spark - no big deal - I thought. I tried to start the car about ten minutes later and got nothing. No engine turnover, no click, not ever the power windows would work, no radio, and no blinkers. The headlights, and interior lights work though. I get the buzzing when I put the key in but that is all. I checked the fuses under the driver side dash - all good. The battery is fine also.

I am wondering if there is another ignition fuse I don't know about. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to AF. Check the fusible links down at the starter harness coming off the starter solenoid.

That was it. I must say I didn't even know what a fusible link was but now I know a lot. My fusable link was loose at the joining wire. Now getting to it will be a chore but at least I know the problem. I pulled on the wire and made a tight connection and she started right up.

Good deal, you may want to replace that link, the special wire is available at any parts store..
