Instrument Cluster Changeover

I have a 1997 Ranger, 2.3L engine, 5 speed manual trans.
The original guage cluster does not have the upgrade of having the tachometer guage.
Does anyone know if the upgraded cluster with tach, fit in its place?
I might be able to find one from a parts lot.
The only other dilemma, did Ford install the same electrical harness in these trucks to power up the tach on the 2.3 L engines? :p

Should be a plug and play. Harness is the same.
