Help with hatchback purchase - Mazda vs VW vs Subaru

My husband and I are looking at the following cars:

2011 Mazda 3 s Grand Touring 2.5 Automatic 25k miles

2011 VW GTI 18k miles

2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Premium Hatchback new

We have driven all. The GTI def has the most pep. BUT This is what we want overall - the most reliable, solid car, with the most features for the money. We are looking at trading a truck and after the trade we would be financing around 22-23k for any of these 3 cars.

So give me some suggestions, ideas, etc. Need some help deciding!

Go to www.edmunds.com and see the ratings each model has received and read reviews of all three . I'm sure all three are great vehicles but my personal choice would be the VW Golf GTI . Just my $0.02 !
