2004 Grand Prix GTP

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with the power rear view mirror. The light will not come on and the mirror no longer works. When I press and hold the OnStar button for a few second I either get a solid red light or blinking red light. Any idea what could be causing the problem? Thanks

By power mirror, I assume you are talking about the auto dimming feature?

The red light for Onstar, usually means a code is set or Onstar is not active(subscription has run out).......
