Need help with Exhaust for my 02 GA

So, I have a Pontiac GA 2002 3.4L.

I'm looking into getting some performance mufflers. But, I would like to keep my dual exhaust on both sides. I need help of thinking of a way to keep the dual exhaust. First and foremost I'm going to remove the resonator. But, I need help of thinking of a way to keep the dual exhaust, maybe a T pipe or an H pipe. I'm looking at getting some dynomax mufflers. Keep in mind I am in college and have a lower budget. My dad is a union welder, so welding won't be an issue. Any experienced people willing to help me?

Technically, you don't have dual exhausts.....just a muffler with two tail pipes.....

I understand that, but the unit comes together into one big muffler, then splits off into the two tips. But, like I said I'm looking into getting two separate dynomax mufflers.

hello Hanauer51, and Welcome to AF !!

They used to sell kits online for around $400 complete from cat to dual tails. SLP was one of them and I forget the other brand, which it was coated pipe and a lot nicer. Borla makes one too but cost about $800!
But as the years roll on they are hard to come by n kits. which usualy means taking it to a muffler shop. :uhoh:

They sell mufflers with 1 inlet and dual exits like you are wanting. Flow-master makes a really nice one the 80 series, i think the part # is 42583 for a 2.5" inlet/outlet.

Just found that other exhaust kit, its a Pace Setter 88-1474 MONZA Performance Exhaust System.
Amazon was selling them but are out of stock, it even lists a set of headers for the V6(3.4L)for $320! :crying:
