Remote door unlock

Hi. Just one thing after another with this dang thing (one of these days I might get around to listing all of the things gone wrong with this car from day one, but I do not want to boor you). 2005 GC. One click of the key should open only the driver's door, two opens both. But now both doors open with one click. Simple matter of reprograming the key?? Thanks
