sum advice about coilovers

ok here's the deal i got some skunk2 coilovers and was wonder what i really need to complete like struts,shocks, camber im riding '03 civic sedan on 17in rims and planning on dropping 2in or so

You should get some quality shocks to go with coilovers since the spring rates are usually higher than aftermarket lowering springs.

Tokico and Konis are good brands and Koni even warrenties their shocks up to a 2" drop in most cases and up to 500ft/lbs springs.

Koni yellows, camber kits unless you dont mind replacing your tires prematurely.

If you are dropped 2" or more then you should get a camber kit. But I recommend getting 0 toe front and rear cause toe will wear tires quicker than camber.

do you get toe from lowering your car or just negative camber? i did lost control of my vehicle and my front right wheel hit a curb so i had mad toe because my tie rod was bent in... in the 20 miles i was forced to drive it to the repair shop it did thousands of miles worth of wear to the tires.

how come people just drop their car like 2"?? my friend has a 95 LS integra on 17s and he dropped it 4" (as much as his coilovers allowed) and it is just lowered enough so theres no wheel gap between his tire and the wheel well.

When you lower your car you get toe out. When you raise the car you get toe in. That is why if you fiddle with your coilovers you should always get an alignment even if you lowered it .25".

CivicSiRacer you're like the resident pro with suspension it seems like. autocrossing seems sweet, but theres no places around my area that offer it. could u list everything you have done to your suspension (EVERYTHING :D) just out of curiosity

i jus got my coilovers installed and it dropped about 3 in, i heard camber kits are always breaking...
