I have a 2003 Alero 3.4 that I bought that had an overheated motor in it, I got a 3.4 from a 2000 Monte Carlo from a junkyard. I had to replace the front timing cover since they were different, and a couple other misc things. I got it put back together and running, but sounds like it's blowing bubbles out the tailpipe and a cylinder 4 misfire. I have switched plugs, wires, coil, coil module, and injectors. Still having cylinder 4 misfire, I pulled the valve cover today, and rocker arms and push rods look good on cylinder 4. Also have 150 psi on it also. I also have 2 other codes P0443 & P0449. I am really running out of ideas on what to try, I don't have a wiring diagram for the big rectangle plug behind the alternator to confirm power on the number 4 injector. I am not sure if it makes a difference, but the Monte Carlo and the Alero use 2 different cam sensors and different injector harnesses and am using the Monte harness. Any suggestions and help would be great.
