Tamiya kit build OOB. Decals are home made.
With this car Chris and Rik finished 3Th in the 2000 Condroz rally.
It is the first time ever that it took so long to Finnish a simple Tamika kit. It started out as another version but the renaissance decals of the Vannie 2000 Ypres version were terrible. Then the 2K clear coat i used ( zero paints) was to glossy for this car. I started all over again and gave it an semi-gloss clear coat. The car looks much better now.

Hmmm - can you post a photo of the original car? was the colour gloss or flat? Decals appear far too thick

Hey guys, here is a picture of the real car

The car isn`t gloss but it ain`t flat either. The car started ou in 2K zero paints gloss. It just didn`t look right on this car. That is why i choosed gunze`s semi gloss.

about the decals, you`re right. My decalmaker prints the white decals and the colordecals on 2 differend decals. I use his white decals and i reprint the color decals myself. Problem is that he uses decalsheets from the magic touch. I print on BMF decalsheets and that is a lot thinner. I`m trying to draw my livery`s now so i can send them to decallab on this forum. But it takes time to learn. ;)
