1993 Buick Regal no dashlights

I've search the forum and didn't find what info i needed so...

There are no dash lights at all "0"

The info center works

headlights and running lights.....just no dash lights.

And the interior lights work when you slide the slider all the way over.

Checked the fuse and even changed it just in case.
Theres only one in the glove compatrment RIGHT?
the gauges themselves work, although the fuel gauge is wacky...

I found a schematic for the dash/headlight switch and thought it was going ot be easy to figure out if it was the switch or somthing else.

But when i pulled the switch it was nothing like the schematic i have.
or am i missing somthing.

anybody know the layout of this switch.

The bad thing is it over $300 dolllars.
And we were at the wrecking yard today and i saw one but didn 't have a small enough wrench to take it out.

And help would be appreciated.
