2002 astro taxi

Rear blower switch in the dash wires get hot (2 orange wires) and in the fuse box in engine the relay get very hot to touch as well also (2 orange wires) i check everything with the engine off. i check the connection at the rear blower resistor and all is fine does not get hot only at the dash swith so does this mean the problem is in the front were the switch is? or can i cut the wires and add a universal relay to take some of the resistance away? any help on what it could be or should i take dash apart and follow wires to all there connection and see what i find? Thanks in advance!
