2002 Taurus drivers interior door handle broken

Found a new interior drivers door handle on Ebay for $8.00, with a 10min fix.

I don't like the idea of buying a 10-year old plastic part for $6.00 from a salvage yard.

1) Remove 5-screws from the plastic interior door skin.
2) Grind, or drill out the pop-rivet holding the door handle.
3) Find a screw + locking nut the same size for replacement.

The one you bought on e-bay is perhaps 10 years old as well.
