96chevy shutdown issue

Have a 96 w/t model truck with the 6cyl eng, You will be driving along and it just randomly shuts down and won't restart for about 15 to 20 min, anyone know why this is happening? Please let me know if so. Thanks

need more info to say whats up.

first determine is this a fuel or electrical/ignition issue.

when it dies check fuel pressures you need 60-65 psi,

next check for a blue spark at the plug wire.

if the vehicle does not crank no power at all then you may have fuseable links opening when they heat up due to a voltage drop because of corrosion/age.
