Mako Shark I

AMT SnapFastPlus kit. Painted with Tamiya Blue and a custom mixed pearl white and built out-of-the-box. I am a little surprised how much the flake in the Dark Mica Blue pops in direct sun light. I am sure the clear helped bring it out as it was nowhere near that glittery before. But then it is a fiberglass car like a Manx or a bass boat… Indoors under fluorescent and incandescent lighting it has very little flake so it is going to stay…

wow. i like it even better now that the paintjob literally shines and sparkles when outside :)

Great job! Also the colour and details in the cockpit match yout paintjob very well!

The sparkles throw it off a bit, for me personally, but I think you've done a stellar job overall!
