97 headlamp removal help

I heard you have to remove the front bumper to replace a headlamp assy. on a 97 lesabre, is this true??

Are you replacing the headlight assembly(broken?) or are you just replacing a bulb?

Replacing passenger assembly..........has a broken lens .
