Ok, this is for the chevy guys. I am a girl so not a chevy guy but I am trying to get some information for my dad. He has a 350 crate motor that he bought in 1969. It is the 370hp engine. When he sold the vehicle he had put it into, he kept the engine. Last year he pulled the high performance pistons and sold them. Back in 69 he had put in a standard cam and hydraulic lifters. The engine is apart, but everything is all there except the pistons. Now for the question. Is this engine worth trying to sell? Dad asked me to try and find out and I haven't been able to find much information on it. Here is what I do know. It is a 4 bolt main, it has the pink rods, needs hi compression pistons and with a high performance cam and manual lifters it would be put back to it's original state. Ok car guys, do your thing!!! and thanks for any info you can provide.

Anything can be sold, no? If it is not rusted and you can identify the engines original application and build it back up, it would be sellable. Remember every one has modern pump friendly 350 crate engines, in their catalogues.
