One of my all-time favorite Corvettes. Amazing design from 1959 that holds its own even today.
Not the best kit, nor the most accurate by a long shot, but still a fun build and it looks good on the shelf.
Old resin kit by Starter in 1/43rd scale. Straight out of the box except for the rear view mirror faces I made from Mylar and a gear shifter made from a straight pin. I made a jig to bend the wings of the knock-offs out equally.

For such a small kit it looks great. Haven't seen that car before. Exhausts look evil:D

Martini, :iagree:!
That car could come straight out of the old Flash Gordon Movies!
Great finish though!

Looks really good! What did you use to attach the side-view mirrors to the windshield? That looks problematic...

Good old CA glue. That was easier than attaching the windscreens to the body...

No trouble with fogging? I've typically used white glue or trim adhesive to attach these vacuum-formed pieces rather than CA for fear of fogging, but have not really experimented with it. Does it not bother them like it does clear plastic parts?

Fresh glue helps a lot. I waxed and polished the clear before installing the two clear parts to the body. I think the wax helps ward off some of the fogging too.
