The large connector at rear acted up again. This time when I moved it, I must have found one of the bad wires. It arced to ground. I just knew it blew the PCM fuse. Wire is very short . removed pin. Need at least 1 new male pin.
Probably extractor would help and additional male and female pins.
P.S.--I think the mad welder only repaired this harness. It looks a little melted and several wires at connector look melted as well.....everybody enjoy the 4th in US....i am not sure I will...cheers KEV

I just had a pin replaced on that connector, done by GM dealer. As you noticed, does require specialized tools to remove and replace the connectors. Otherwise, try NAPA or similar outlets for tools/connector kits, I think they can be obtained aftermarket, but not cheap

With the tremendours heat wave in Chicago area, I ended up splicing around the connector. I hate note doing a factory job, but wife is constantly running around in it.
Funny thing..we brought our son home in it as a newborn...now he is learning to drive in it...have a safe 4th of july guys...kev

Sometimes Kev, working around the problem may solve it for life.... But I do understand wanting it to look like factory...lol
