buy the LL type bulbs. LL is long life.
use some silicone grease on the bulb contact pins. make sure the socket conections are clean. if the socket is damaged from heat go to a scrap yard for replacements. then use the silicone grease on the contact pins to prevent future socket issues.

i replaced mine several times as well and got fed up. i ended up getting the led equivelent bulbs and havent had to replace since. im going on 8 years or so with them. im not sure what makes them burn out but i had the same issue with the fog lights on my '00. maybe it was heat, moisture, or maybe vibration, but they all kept burning out regularly. when i installed the led bulbs i did apply some elect grease in the sockets and i havent replaced a bulb since.
