Help creating custom exhaust system

I have very little experience working with cars and am looking for help in regards to puting together an exhaust sytem for under $300. I have found a few link to parts (pipes, mufflers, tips) but dont know if they will be compatible or how my car will sound after putting them together.
I am only looking to rebuild the pipes, mufflers, and tips. (No catalytic converters or anything more costly/complex)
I drive a stock 1997 Ford Thunderbird with a 4.6L v8.

Dallismills94, You would be better off getting a stock system from either your local auto parts store or someplace like Rock Auto. The system you picked out will still require an x-pipe so you can run the dual pipes back. Since you have little experience working on cars, a system that will bolt right in is the best way to go.
