BIG Mistake from Hobby Shop

So I stop at my hobby shop to get a few tamiya paint that I need to finish my project and the lady there tells me that the kits that I order are there already. So I turn to see a stack of 9 cars :eek: :eek:

When I order the kit I gave her a list of all the cars I was going to by there but not a one time, she understood me wrong when I gave her the sheet and got every car on the list. SO since I was going to get the kits anyways I got them all. It was a little over a hundred dollars worth of kits

Being a modellerin Japan must be soooo cool, your orders must come in quite fast. Over here in the UK, I have to wait at least 3 weeks for anything to appear. I suppose that's why I buy from HLJ now.

the lady in the hobby shop talks english, but since I left the sheet with the list she though I ment to order them all. I actually mark the ones I wanted with a start right next to the stock number but she didn't see it I guess. I had eleven models in the list but the other two were not available from what understood from her. It was the falken Skyline and one more. I should have a bad a racing skyline meet here soon. :frog: :D

is available here she actually had another of those when i pick up this one probably order by someone else. If you want I can go back and check if I can purchase for you it goes for 1600 i think max 2000 but i doubt that much. You would have to pay for this and shipping to where ever you want. I'm in a military base here so shipping would be as if I was shipping from the states.

hehe nope the tatami is on my house off base, I work on base though.

9 tamiya kits for a little over $100.. damn. i wish i lived in japan..

in US.. 9 tamiya kits to that quality you have there. would be over $200 USD here! if your lucky

luckily found it on internet here in germany.just typed in google tamiya - number of the r33 - and a small shop still had it in stock for 20 bucks.great kit:)

it doesn't have no engine though, bu the R32 those . Oh yeah forgot to add in my post before obviously I am a Skyline fan and soon enough I might add a real skyline to my collection. A R32 GTR to be more exact, I love Japan =).

I don't know how long you gonna be staying in Iwakuni, but I know you can buy a used GT-R in good condition and drive on/off the base.

well I am getting a used 90 GTR =) , for those who might want some of these kit if you give me the tamiya number I can order them for you, but you would have to cover all expenses of buying the kit and shipping to where ever you are. Please don't send me a long list and I'm not promising the they have what ever you want. But I can check and let you know within a few days since the hobby shop in the way to work and I can stop after work.
