If Anyone can help it would be appreciated.
I did the passlock bypass inline resistor method, not switch) on my alero and things seemed good. The one exception is that the security light would not turn off.
Well the other day the car decided not to start (usual passlock behavior heard the injectors prime, then nothing no ignition click nada). relearn procedure would not engage, then car decided to start appx 5 minutes later.
I checked the BCM connection when home a/p bergerweb , maybe I should try a new resistor?
Any suggestions on what I may be missing. Ill also post in the Grandam forum as the same car.
btw 2002, 3.4 V6 model
This is the car that convinced me to never own another GM product :nono:
Thanks

I bypassed with a switch in 2005. It has started every time since then.

I changed resistor, disconnected battery, checked contacts on bcm, cant find any bad fuse.
Security light stays on, re learn procedure not happening. Fuel Pump primes injectors but no start/click nothing.
Is the BCM most likely dead anyone
Any Suggestions

Just for ha-ha's, have you checked the starter circuit?
Scanned for codes?
