This is the question of my thesis in my studies. And I need the opinion of American car drivers. Therefore I developed an online questionnaire to research aspects of security and fear of car related crime in the U.S..
Answering my survey would be of great help to finish my studies. Please follow the provided link. It will take you about 10 minutes to answer the questions.

Thank you very much for your contribution and help!!!

By the way; Germans say yes, and Mexicans no

An encrypted key is probably good enough, or a PIN #!
A Lojack, or Zoombak might be needed only if you really want your car back.

I can certainly sympathize with you as I've had my car broken into many
times. The problem is, if you do anything like this, you'll end up in
jail instead of the crook. Just ask the guy in Surrey who booby-trapped
the tool box in his truck with a pipe bomb a few years ago.

I do not know how many of you made the survey as the survey is anonymous but I got some answers.
So, thank you guys!
Nevertheless, maybe there is still someone who wants to make the survey ;-)

I guess I know why Mexicans have a different opinion about this than Germans...
Nice questionnaire, let us know about the result!
