Ferrari 250P 1/24 - Le Mans Week Build 2012

In our Greek forum, we started a week build for Le Mans 24H, 2012 race :

My participation was the Ferrari 250P from profil24, in 1/24.
With this car (#0814), Lorenzo Bandini (I) and Ludovico Scarfiotti (I), wins the 1963 Le Mans 24 Hours.

The build progress started in Monday and finished in Saturday late evening.
The profil24's kit was very difficult to build, with some major fitting problems and some inaccurates. But it has some fine details like the steering wheel and the wheels (beautiful but very big, I think).

Here the result... of course not perfect but I try my best, in a less than a week time.

250s are always nice. Were the exhaust pipes really that long?

Greg, the exhaust pipes are very long. I change the kits resin with tubes in same size. But when I put on the model, i discover the mistake.
I 'll go to correct some details (like front lights covers, etc.), which I skip, because the little time, I have to finished it.

The Le Mans builds, are a very nice and enjoyable idea...

That has turned out great. I wish I could build to that level in such a short time.
