Hi guys,

I've started building this kit the moment I've completed the NSR250 Movistar bike. The photos of the naked bike & the completed bike in different angles below :

First & foremost, I kind of almost unintentionally damage the kit but somehow tried to minimized it that is I kind of broke the right throttle. :uhoh:When the holder is damaged. I tried using the hardest glue I could think of hoping that it will stick hard.

Another thing I noticed is that, I see that Hasegawa parts on the runner has the spruce placed on a tight angle on cutting. That is, for the screen, I also almost screwed up as I also unintentionally damage the screen when I cut the screen of the runner. I was like 'Why on earth did they put the spruce at such an awkward position?' when I cut the screen off from the runner. :screwy:

For the fairing, I'm not sure but I guess I'm not experienced enough at the moment, but I find that it's kind of challenge to me as I tried to attach the fairing but the bottom fairing wouldn't be able to stick properly. That took me a while for me to attach the fairings.

As we all know, the more we build the more we learn. I myself have learned something when I make Hasegawa kits as this is the 3rd kit I've attempted to make. This time, I tried to see what to be careful at & be more patient when making this kit.

The paint that I used for the body is dark mica blue for the body along with front mud guard & brilliant orange for the fuel tank & the extra layer part for the fuel tank. After building few Repsol related kits, I think I find that brilliant orange as suggested by Tamiya isn't suitable in terms of colouring scheme. I always thought that it should be a brighter type of orange in my opinion. Maybe the next Repsol kit I'll try another type of orange but I would like suggestion from you about the suitable orange scheme for Repsol related kits.

Feedback would be quite appreciated. :feedback:

Thank you for viewing.

Adrian

You should use "micro sol" setting solution to soften your decals.

+1 - but other than that, great stuff.
