chevy trailblazer ac problems

when ac is on engine dies..but when ac is on while driving its great!!! help:runaround:

Sounds like your compressor is seizing. Higher rpm engine has more power to turn it. If this is the case you need to fix it or you will kill the belt and cause damage.

Its a 2008 v6...

Thanks Ill look into that. I found out that it may also bee condensor fan or main fan.. either is expensive,,

I don't know why the fan would stall it. I would assume its the compressor. It will get worse also. It will also happen if you use defrost so you know ahead of time.

Keep us posted on it though.
