stupid ? climate controlls

I tried searching the best i could for answers and to make sure not to double post

anyway the question is how do you run the stupid controls on 2002 olds intriuge

I wouldn't call it a electronic like Buicks have but no olds has this half ass electronic controll

the one with outside air temp auto air speed dual zones etc

anyway that's the best description i can give

now my question is it has no AC disabled and bypassed

how do you get the vent on stupid olds don't seem to have one and nothing is labled
worth a crap i have tried every combo to try to get it on vent

all efforts don't work always hot air even with temp bottomed out
and forcing it to take outside air which is a pain it always loves to go back to recirculate

anyone know what the heck to do or will it never work right and is only made for
ac

and sorry that brings up one other ? about these control's IF i did have ac again how do you turn on OLDS did one of the crappiest jobs of labeling the control's i have ever seen i miss the old normal vent ac etc simple easy not a five hour book and internet search just to run stupid climate control's

is the plain basic labeled better and any way to switch i don't give a flying crap about digital read out or temp so any way to switch or is the other not compatible and not labeled any better if switched i just want the old plain simple controls ac vent slid temp etc that way it should be

Push the "auto" button and set desired inside temperature with the temp control arrows. If compressor does not come on- then a/c has issues-- but it will still try to control air flow and temp (as in econ mode) pretty simple-- my grandmother has no problem dialing hers in--set it and forget it...

You obviously have an a/c issue if no cool air--time to have it checked out.

i said ac is dead and by passed that means ac is dead and i cant get a fricking vent like a normal car can that blows outside air in is that more clear sorry if i wasnt but yes ac dead since i got it compressor froze after a year and had to belt bypass compressor

thanks for trying all i am asking for is vent and im not granma this is a crap design that dont do what you want and has no labels and i have tried all the way down on temp i have trie econ tried it all just blows hot the vent is supposed to blow temp of outside air not blasting how we have to just sweat it out when its raining due to no stinking vent

Then you have a bad temp door actuator- check it out- behind glove box top and bottom of HVAC case - do they move when requested?

Tilt glove box down to access.

thanks i forgot about the doors no i dont hear them open or close on this car like the old Chevys and fords and others you hear a small thump that i dont in this one thats most likely the prob so if i get it fixed vent on this thing is temp all the way down or the econ button
is it that ball shaped thing if im remembering correctly or the whole door
i have not been a mechanic for over 15 years since i got disable so a walk through would help thanks

forget it shop says door and acuator alone are over two and a half or more will have to look and smack it around see if i can fonzi it lmao

ok forget it all the whole system except heat is junk some controller electric thing has to be shot dropped glove box nor door but big selinoid pulled vac to it a door inside shut but no matter how low the temp no matter auto run econ anything it blows air so hot it hurts if you put hand or anything else in front so the ac is junk the vent is junk but dam the heat works good dont give a dam about ac but vent is nice to have if its:sarcasmsign: not roasting you so thanks for the help but this cars crap try to get years out then scrap the useless thing
