about 2 months ago the check engine light came on .after having it read it came back as a po1320. i reset the computer and yesterday it came back on. it read po1320. now, the moter is not missing ,that i can pick-up. the idle is perfect. any idea what th
e problem might be?

The error lottery machine & codes - not a problem but designed feature.
However, plugs should be changed periodically, coilpacks die by the mile ... the can cause misfire and this code. If low mileage, then more probably oxidized connections, read linky below.

engine has 90k miles.ive only changed 1 maybe 2 plugs/coil packs.

Change all plugs first: platinum/iridium plugs 'last' 60k miles.
One faulty coilpack is enough for misfire... seems that they 'start to die' at 100k. As they also contain electronics, pinpointing a intermittent-faulty one is question of luck.
