Sites for car newbies

I'm very very new to cars, and I was wondering where I could find some good sites to learn about the basics of cars and tuning.

One of the cooler sites for everything (not only automotive) is this (http://www.howstuffworks.com/). This place is a great place to learn the basics of pretty much anything.

Lol, that place is great, I never knew "pain beams" even existed, let alone how they worked.

yeah hahah i have learned all kindsa useless crap from that site:D and some very useful stuff too, (how turbos work o so long ago)
