Ok here it goes, its a selling question not a Buying question, hope I don't get in trouble. Anyway, Heres an ad that I wrote up to be put up on a couple classifieds. I was just wondering---what the heck is this car worth to sell? what should I list it at?1990 Pontiac Bonneville with 205,000 miles on it. It has a 3.8 L V6 engine (3800), one of the best engines put in these cars, and were even used in Buicks and Pontiacs for years and years! New on this car within the past year: Brakes front and back, battery, alternator, belt, starter solenoid, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fresh trans fluid and filter, Idle Air control valve, Ignition lock, Cam sensor, headlight low beam bulbs, fog (driving) lights. 3 new tires (Yes no 3rd yet) Also, Air conditioning recently sealed and charged (still needs some more). The car has all power windows and power driver seat. Cruise and aftermarket CD player. Nice and roomy, large trunk and plenty of room. Quite a clean car for its age, however it still is a bit rough around the edges. Paint is bad and is faded, interior clean but still not perfect. Mechanically the car is OK, the car pulls to the right a bit but not terrible. Starter could probably stand to be replaced, as the car sometimes hesitates to start after a couple turns of the key, but will still start right up. Transmission is old, so don't expect amazing shifting, etc. Just recently a check engine light came on in this vehicle. Took it to Auto parts store to get the codes read, had Torque converter code as well as cam sensor error, Cam sensor replaced, and car still runs just fine, but light is still on. Give this car a little TLC and you will easily get thousands more miles out of this car. Price is set at ____ OBO. [contact info here]

Yes it's on, but how do you expect anybody to give you an honest answer without knowing how much gas is in the tank ?

Location is one of the biggest factors in price. You're better off to look up your car on kbb.com or edmunds.com or vehix.com (or all 3) until you find a price you feel comfortable with. I'll be honest - don't expect much... the car is too old even if it doesn't have all that many miles.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
