I had to get my a/c and power belts replaced because there was a crack and now it's squealing.... i know there's not enough tension on the belts or something like that. i'd like to know more about this. so if anyone can direct me to a source where I can find information that would be great.

Thanks! :D

They may need re-tensioned possibly. There is a measurement for deflection. I will look it up and update.

The factory manual shows deflection of 6.5mm--8.5mm (.26"-.33") with new belt for alternator.
And delection of 5.0mm--6.5mm (.20"-.26") with new belt for A/C compressor.

There is also one for tension... if you need it PM with e-mail and I will send it.
