Yeah, I messed up

Hi all! Hopefully someone out there can tell me what I have done to my 1997 Sebring conv. I am new to the area and don't know any mechanics yet and I quit fixing my own when they added all the compterized stuff (probably before most of you were in school)- waaayyy over my head. I would like to be able to sound as though I am not a complete idiot when getting prices.

Anyway, backing out of the driveway in a hurry and caught a large(ish) rock in the right front area. pulled forward to see what I was dragging so don't know EXACTLY where it was caught. Car acts almost like the power steering is out - hard to steer, but easier when moving. Easier in reverse than forward.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

possible damage to the steering rack and pinion, we all mess up sometimes
