Should I be worried about this damage?

Wife was in an accident (lady ran a red light and hit her). The passenger side rear wheel took most of the impact. The picture is of the wheel well. The tire was hit so hard that it hit the car.

My concern is the bottom left of the picture. There looks like a rubber bushing and a dent above it. The dent prevents the car from sitting flush on the bushing. On the repair bill I saw no mention of this being repaired.

My questions are:
Is this something I should be concerned about?
Will this make it wear any different?
Exactly what is it and what does it do?
Is there anyway they could have repaired this?

We haven't picked the car up yet.

Thanks for any help.

Are you referring to the bump stop just to the left of the photo date stamp?

I guess I'd talk with the shop and make sure the bump stop will be functional when you pick up the car, then inspect it. Yeah, you are going to want a working bump stop, but I cannot say from the photo whether or not it needs to be replaced or just reinstalled once the body is straightened out.
