I just got my 96 GS-R about 3 weeks ago and was looking inside the engine bay and saw the resontor below the air box. Would removing this give me any more power. The car is stock right now.

yes, rip the shit out of it and put in a cai. even just taking it out would give u more power and the damn thing weighs a lot.

i thought the resonator was the part that came after the catalytic converter. Or is the Air intake box below it . I just took off the intake pipes and the box but i left that tube that runs up to the air intake box.

I got a 94 blk integra gsr with ractive cai, Headers, stage 1 clutch from clutch masters putting it in this weekend. next is the catalytic converter high flow of course , and then cat back. Have to do it in piece money is tight.

Probably no noticeable gain, maybe 1 or 2 HP. You will have a different intake sound. Take it out anyway, it does more harm than good.
