ok so basically im alowed to do anything i want with the family riding mower.. since im the one that drives it..
My plan is gloss black spray paint on body, cowl induction hood made out of that air duct stuff, all stickers off, put on some left over stickers like accel, hooker headers, headmen, edlebrock from my dad's vette, and maybe a spoiler that goes right behind the seat, and for sure a new seat because it has water in it from when it rains and soaks my ass

edit: after seeing this http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=93923&highlight=lawn+mower i have decided gold flames will look good

Tell me what you think of the quik chop i did and if you have any suggestions

adding some stickers, a fake intake and wing does not make it a 'tuned' tractor whatsoever, it makes it a riced tractor.....BIG difference IMHO.

Fix the seat and leave the rest as it is, it's a frigging lawn tractor man, why bother doing anything more than some fresh paint?

You know you want that APC neon undertractorkit, maybe a mirror finish grill and, who knows, a DAD racing bucket seat. Don't forget the genuine imitation MOMO steering wheel.:hehehe:

comon guys, im 14, off for the next few days and im bored outa my mind! this is lots of fun since i gop around the neighborhood with my beast.. so far i have all the body removed (a good hours work.) im thinking just a gloss black, i removed all the tacky stickers, and ill put some racing stickers on, gold flames on hood, maybe a scoop/cowl but definately some gas pedals( a while ago i found this chrome gas pedal in the shape of a foot) and somthing to go on the shifter and a real steering wheel.. im just tryin to have a good time, got any support?

No other suggestion other then have fun - put a spoiler on their and drive down the block till you can find a Vette and give him a few revs. :)

as a seasoned riding lawnmower user I would definately chrome those dubs to get the ladies attention. then a NOS seat cover, I've seen em at Pep boys. lastly a big ass tach even if it isn't hooked up to anything.

i would leave the 11hp sticker on (or maybe its paint). maybe put a type R sticker, and see if you can attach some of those tacky plastic hubcaps that are supposed to look like chromed rims that are sold at hardwere stores

ok first thing first, im very happy that my older bro came over to help me out, we got it all primered, and bondoed up where i uhhh... had an accident with the brick wall  and the thing is looking killer. Tomorrow i am going to block sand the bondo because we are trying to actually reform the ferring so i need to get some shape in there, then ima lightly sande primer to get rid of any shit, then my bro is off work and we are going to give bondo another try, then a quik primer and maybe paint if we can get it in

Some info

Paint: Gloss Black All Around, Silver Flake flames down hood, Redo instrument panel with flat black, maybe paint rims with some chrome spray(havnt decided)

Stickers: Type R Sticker, Accel, edlebrock, and whatev else i can find, i left one of the 11 hp stickers on but im painting over it so it will be a bevelled effect

Accesories: Maybe a tac, it will have to be weather proofed and boxed in if so, still thinking about a small air duct cowl hood, chrome shift knobs all around, seat stapled with plastic then homemade cover to go over it, thinking about putting a logo on it, a chrome "foot" gas pedal, and thats about it

anyone have any more suggestions? (preferably bout the rims)

lol . get a set of rims from the local scrapyard for 300$ <get the biggest size next, veil side type r skirts and a scooby intake and a huge jap style exhaust !! next a 30inch wide spoiler then fit your rims with the new pirelli p-zero's fit a turbo from a tiny car or a diesel ,then an induction kit and then a super chip and to finish it off a sticker saying "look at my ar#e 'vette cos its all you'll be seeing!!"

eh i dont think ima spend any money on this project man, but neways i got all the bondo smoothed this morin, gotta go for another coat because it didnt properly form the corner.. ive stopped for now because somehow ive developed a rash to the bondo powder and anything i touch makes my arm feel like needles...

Still waiting on some easy, cheap rim ideas and some reference pics

Racing stripes and sidepipes are needed desperately. Also needs either a flame-thrower or some sort of laser.
