06 vue radio

I have tried to change the clock on the radio many times with no success. It changed before and now with daylight savings time i have tried with no luck. I have a 2006 with the single CD, i have tried it with the radio on and off, i hold the clock button until it says hour and then the hour flashes. I then either tried turning the tune dial or the seek or fwd buttons. Nothing has worked.. It meerly goes back to preset time as soon as you do anything.. Getting frustrated. I did do everything in the owners manual.

Any suggestions? Should i pull the battery cable? I can program radio stations, all the other functions seem to work but the clock. Kind of weird..
