I have a 96 Grand Caravan 3.3. I was having problems with the car stalling. The van runs smooth otherwise. I replaced the Cam and Crank Sensors, but I noticed the Cam Sensor plug Yellow wire had some insulation missing from the wire. The Check Engine Light comes on and has a code P 1391. I can only guess it's the faulty plug. I have checked the PDC and the Fuses are good and the connections on the bottom area good. The battery is 14Mos old. I re-soldered the Instrument cluster, the Gauges, locks, lights, remote and HVAC all work and I could not wind any wiring faults after dismantling my dashboard. So I think I've narrowed it down to either the #1 Sensor Plug, # 2 PCM, or # 3 Flex plate.
I can't find the Camshaft Position sensor replacement wire connector. It's similar to the Crankshaft plug but not the same. Does anyone one know where I can find one?
Any help is appreciated.
RIP, if you have any input I would appreciate it.
