1995 Villager Creaking Over Sharp Bumps

Hello all,

In the colder Arizona winter weather (35F - 50F), my 1995 Villager has been making a loud "creaking" noise when driving over sharp speed-bumps, and sharp dips in the road (water drainage canals in parking lots). With the warmer weather (70F - 100+F) the creaking noise has disappeared, with ride height and bumper bounce tests measuring within spec.

Could it be the strut mounts? :dunno:

FYI, the CV joints will need replacing.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

Welcome to AF.

I would suspect more in the line of the sway bar bushings, geting soft from age. Have they ever been replaced??? How many miles on vehicle???

I am not sure if they had been replaced. The current reading is 204,000 miles.

Are there any recommended threads/tips on checking them?
